the sighting...
my first shot when i landed at the barcelona airpot was this view of the control tower. samsung did a pretty good job of advertising on that spaceship-like structure. little did i know that i would be the owner of the samsung tablet! just got one yesterday for christmas! love it!

another flower shot from the la rambla in barcelona. i remember my colleague asked if these flowers were dyed, and the curt reply was "everything is natural in barcelona!" fresh as a daisy....i mean ...rose!

shining on
even during my travels i look for flowers to shoot. along la rambla are numerous flower stalls and i had a heyday shooting there! here is a sunflower from spain!

pimientos, as they are called in la boqueria, the food market in la rambla. i wish i had the time to eat in one of these stalls, but i guess these photos tell you more than i can say in words. it was just an amazing place! definitely the place to go for your gustatory needs!
