i can't believe i have 4 sunset shots all in a row! lol! this one is again zoomed out but included tops of coconut trees on the foreground. these trees line the road along the manila bay coastline and you will see rows of lovers and friends who just enjoy the sunset view on a daily basis.

sneaking out
this is a different day, same sun, same sea... that sun is particularly HUGE this time of the year for some reason. i was late coming home because of work, as usual and picked up the nearest camera lying around, which was the Canon 40D of my partner.
would you believe this was just using the 100-300 USM lens? not even an L lens and no IS even! and just resized for the web. you should have seen the awesome sky....will post another shot i took earlier when the sun was higher. i just love the color gradations that we see in this shot.

nature's canvas

wireless style
a photo of my wireless heatset, with just the light from the pc monitor on the left and some light from the chandelier on the right outlining it.

the future is now!
a shot i have always wanted to try and finally was able to do it with the D3. not that it cannot be done with my other cameras, but i wanted to test the high ISO of the cam.

thanks for the memories
sunsets depict the end of another day, filled with good and bad memories that forever will remain in the past. thanks for the good ones, they will always be cherished. for the "not so good" ones, thank you too, for from them we learn to be better persons for the rest of our lives.

le premier cri @ opera station
the metro or subway is one of my most favorite places to photograph and i realized i have not posted any from paris! the paris metro is most exciting as it is probably one of the most complicated in the world! another thing interesting is that each station has its own theme of wall color and seats. truly extraordinary!

resplendent ardor
caught this just spectacular sky of the manila bay sunset again today. you see a glimpse of the jumbo floating restaurant on the left and some boats docked along the bay.

it is already 2008!!! 12 noon here now in manila and the ball in new york has just dropped (watching it on cable). it is so exciting that with the power of technology you get to see new year fireworks all day all night all over the world!!!

last manila bay sunset, 2007
happy new year!!! it is already 9pm here in manila and a while ago i was able to capture this orange sunset! glad i was home to catch it!
