i was going to shoot the sunset but the sun never showed up. it was quite a cloudy day today. so i decided to shoot these flowers instead.

flickr is much better today, the farms are quite fast!

still having issues with contacts not showing up, but i hope this gets better soon too...

this afternoon's sunset, i was quite pleased witht he blue and golden tones today. did not have to do any processin on this shot that much. just a bit of levels and resizing.

One of Jose Mari Chan's hits is this endearing song about love at first sight. He is such a hopelessly romantic composer and it is no wonder that even during his senior years remains one of the Philippine's best selling composer/singer.

i found this bird standing by over her nest in the garden, a friend of mine was trying to take photo of the nest and she was in a nearby tree observing what he was trying to do. nature has a way of imparting words of wisdom. it may not be in writing, but birds do learn how to care for their nestlings in their own way. amazing!

it was quite hot today, it feels like summer! it wa so hot, this hibiscus bloom qilted after a day in the sun! it's a good thing i had taken some shots before it wilted away so soon!

finally got to shoot with the D3 this morning. this is a plumeria bloom from my garden, actually from a bonsai version of this plant. they can get very tall and take a lot of space, but was able to find a short one small enough to fit in my small garden.
