Place de l'Étoile
The Place de l'Étoile is a large road junction in Paris, France, the meeting point of twelve straight avenues (hence the name "Star Square") including the Champs-Élysées which continues to the east. It was renamed Place Charles de Gaulle in 1970 in honor of President de Gaulle, but is still largely referred to by its original name.

dangling gems
this is probably one of the most beautiful orchids i have seen. hanging from trees in a mall park in makati city, i am amazed at how it had survived in the heart of the metropolis. it looks like one of the more ancient orchids, nothing like the commercial phaelenopsis or cattleya that we often see in flower shops.

along the seine
along the seine, a row of trees in autumn, and a formidable architectural work. layered with textures to give the aged look.
trying my hand again with the textured look. i hope you like it!
