yellow is for flower power

another flower shot from the la rambla in barcelona. i remember my colleague asked if these flowers were dyed, and the curt reply was "everything is natural in barcelona!" fresh as a daisy....i mean ...rose!

pimientos, as they are called in la boqueria, the food market in la rambla. i wish i had the time to eat in one of these stalls, but i guess these photos tell you more than i can say in words. it was just an amazing place! definitely the place to go for your gustatory needs!

a sculpture of metal palm trees line a portion of the area fronting the entrance to the convention center, barcelona. the site itself is near the beach, and it is fun to see people actually sunbathing beneath these metallic palm trees.

am i in the right museum?

underneath the sagrada familia is the museum of how the cathedral plans were drawn by gaudi and how it constructed through the years. brilliant work! and the execution of his plans was nothing short of exemplary. bravo!

our lady of montserrat cathedral

a majestic baroque catherdral on top of the mountains of montserrat, it houses the black madonna.
