You gotta have one of these when in Kobe! It is just the best!

Kobe beef refers to beef from the black Tajima-ushi breed of Wagyu cattle, raised according to strict tradition in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan.

Renowned for flavour, tenderness, and fatty well-marbled texture, qualities of Kobe beef are enhanced by the traditional (and well guarded) methods of raising Kobe beef. Allegedly these cows are treated like royalty.

It is ensured that they are free of stress, are allegedly given regular massages to relax them and given beer as part of their daily meal.

These babies can cost to as much as $300 per serving inf America. They can be served raw as sashimi (raw), as shabu-shabu(steamed/poached), or grilled(teppanyaki). Best rare! Yum!
