we did the stations of the cross today, reading the stations in different churches. it has been a long time since i did this, and it is great to visit a lot of churches in one day. of course i also thought of it now as a photo opportunity to showcase the filipino tradition.
as catholics, there are a lot of statues in the churches that the brethren pray to. here you see that they not only pray but touch them, thinking that they assimilate a piece of holiness when they do.
